Get Grounded Foundation Grant Applications Now Open!
Do you know of a metro Denver area nonprofit that could be a fit for one of our Get Grounded Foundation grants? GroundFloor Media (GFM) and its sister agency, CenterTable, recently announced a call for grant applications by Denver-area nonprofits serving at-risk youth. Created in 2015 as the primary charitable giving arm of the agencies, The Get Grounded Foundation provides one-year community grants to nonprofits in the Denver area focusing on the prevention of child abuse and neglect, youth behavioral health or childhood hunger relief. Since 2015, more than $240,000 has been awarded and grants typically range between $2,500 and $5,000.
Past recipients include The Bridge Project, Connect our Kids (Colorado CASA), Extended Hands of Hope, Zuma’s Rescue Ranch, Spirit of the Sun, Struggle of Love Foundation and Denver City Lax, to name a few. The grant selection committee puts a specific emphasis on nonprofits that are launching an innovative or entrepreneurial program and plan to use the funds to help get the program off the ground.
To apply for grant funding, download and submit the Get Grounded Foundation grant application. The deadline for grant applications is 5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 9, 2021. A volunteer committee made up of individuals from GroundFloor Media, CenterTable will review all grant applications and determine recipients for 2021.
